Are You Pushed by Your Problems or Led By Your Dreams?

How many times have you allowed your problems to dictate the course of your life?  How many times have you become defeated because you were in the midst of challenges or adversities?

Problems come and go.  Our lives are filled with various challenges and obstacles.  Yet our dreams should not die because of them.  Our problems should not deter us from continuing to move forward.

Being led by your dreams will allow you to press past those issues.  You’ll realize that your life or your vision is not about where you are today but where you are going.

When faced with a difficult situation, I have to make it a conscious effort to shift my thinking and focus on where I am going.  It is a conscious effort because it goes against the grain of being distracted by the problem.  It’s easier to be swallowed up by the obstacles.  So I have to work rejecting that tendency.  I have to push myself beyond the problem so that my dream continues to gain traction.

I cannot see my present circumstances as my destination.  They are merely stepping-stones, but only as long as I am willing to take those steps.  I cannot allow my problems to kill my dreams.  I cannot work or live in panic or desperation mode because of those problems.

Will you be pushed by your problems? Or will you be led by your dreams?  When tempted to work in problem mode, shift yourself to operating in opportunity mode.  Problems are the opportunities we need to see how bad we want what we want!
